Bill Pettit at work

It was during kindergarten in 1955 that Bill created his first landscape. A long and winding path took him to the Hudson River Valley in 1984 and from then on he paints the sky, land and water that makes this place so magical.

Bill studied art at Middlebury College, the Worcester Art Museum and Russel Sage College.

Collectors as far away as Australia, France and Hong Kong own his work.

Bill does not fall within the perception of what the public thinks an artist is. He rarely shows, he never enters exhibitions. He paints from the heart, and aims at peace and beauty.
